RECEPTION AGE & ABOVE ONLY Here at Jacqueline's Gems we like to go out on trips to the local parks, fields and woods, as we absolutely love taking every opportunity to get the children out to explore the world around. Holiday Clubs are loads of fun doing numerous activities throughout the day from …moreexperiments, planting, arts & crafts, dancing to board games, reading and movies. We offer Part day care and Full day care for children in reception and above. Breakfast is served until 8:45. Please bring a packed lunch for lunchtime and two snacks for 10AM & 2PM. Light evening snack will be provided after 5pm. The evening snack does not replace a home family meal. less

At 8.40am the children participate in the tidying up routine before school. The children then get ready, line up and make their way to their classrooms. A staff member is assigned to each key stage one year group and they go to each classroom and collect the children. When they arrive at the club, they will participate in a 20-minute sess …moreion of homework/reading time. Once this is done, the fun can begin. At 3.50pm the children can participate in planned activities and free play. These activities are available throughout the evening and change daily in line with our yearly planning. Activities include quizzes, painting, sports games, group games, dancing, den building, movies, dressing up, arts & crafts and much more. In the afternoons, the children have access to our outdoor area, there is a selection of scooters, balls, skipping ropes, swing balls and much more! less
